We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with our hosting provider. A DPA (data processing agreement) is a contract prescribed by data protection law. This DPA ensures that the hosting provider processes the personal data of our website visitors in compliance with the GDPR.

Arnulf Schaunig does not intend to process data of persons under the age of 14. If this data is nevertheless made available, we will only process it with the prior consent of the person authorized to raise or care for the child.

You provide this data voluntarily and we process it in our law firm on the basis of your consent for the following purposes:

• Contract fulfillment (including pre-contractual measures)
• Service guarantee & customer care
• For own advertising purposes (sending of offers in paper and electronic form)

Our website uses so-called Google Fonts for the uniform and correct display of our fonts. These are provided by Google LLC free of charge (commercial use).  

We have installed Google Fonts locally on the server. There is no connection to Google.

We have installed Ninja Firewall as a security plugin on our website. Ninja Firewall is a plugin from NinTechNet Limited, Unit 1603, 16th Floor, The L. Plaza 367 – 375 Queen’s Road Central Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. The Ninja Firewall plugin helps us to protect our website from unwanted access and malicious attacks. To do this, the Ninja Firewall plugin records the IP address, request, referrer and time of access to our website. The Ninja Firewall plugin is located on our rented servers at our hoster. It does not transmit any personal data to third parties or its own provider. The basis for the use of the Ninja Firewall plugin is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in the best possible protection of our website against unwanted access and cyberattacks.

We use the WP Statistics analysis tool on our website. This helps us to statistically evaluate visitor access and analyze the use of our website.

WP Ststistics is a product of Veronalabs, Tatari 64, 10134, Tallinn, Estonia (https://veronalabs.com).

Among other things, the log files such as: IP address, browser used, origin of the user, the search engine used and referrer. The actions that website visitors have taken on our website (e.g. clicks and views) are evaluated.

WP Statistics – IP anonymization
We have activated the “anonymized IP” function in WP Statistics. This shortens your IP address. This makes it impossible to assign the IP address directly to you.

The data collected with WP Statistics is stored exclusively on the server space we have rented from our hoster.

The use of WP Ststistics is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

In order to offer our clients (or service providers) the best possible service, we use the online conferencing tool Microsoft Teams for extended communication. Microsoft Teams is a service provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. During the video conference via the Internet, your personal data is collected and processed by us and also by Microsoft Teams. During the communication process, the following data is processed and stored by Microsoft Teams: Technical data: IP address or MAC address, device ID, device type, operating system/version, client version,microphone used, type of connection, camera, etc. Content data such as cloud recordings, chats (messages), voicemails, uploaded photos & videos, files, whiteboards, any other information Please note that we do not have full influence on the data processing operations of Microsoft Teams.
